The Monchique residential complex is the largest urban restoration project ever awarded to Casais in the city of Porto. It was designed by Architect Carvalho Araújo, who combined heritage restoration with creation of new contemporary spaces by restoring the entire façade of the old ceramics factory and the landmark Massarelos chimney.
